When you’re starting to think about planning for retirement, Pension Buddy can help cut through the clutter. It’s a free-to-use online service that provides valuable information and guidance.
How does it work?
- It creates a personalised Pension Buddy Plan in less than 5 minutes, giving you information that’s tailored to your circumstances.
- And the Retirement Health Check helps you find out how financially fit you are for retirement. It shows what your pension savings may be worth in the future and compares this to the amount you might need to live comfortably during your retirement.
Destination Retirement
When you're ready to set things in motion, you can use our retirement planning and advice service - Destination Retirement. It's available to people aged between 55-73 and who have any pensions, savings or investments of at least £10,000.
How does it work?
- You'll receive a free personal retirement plan, showing you what your life after work could look like and how far your money may go. Once you've got a plan you're happy with, we can provide expert financial advice on how to put it into action.
- If you're happy with your recommendation, we'll take care of all the hard work needed to set up your plan. At this stage there are simple, ongoing fees which cover ongoing advice, reviews and managing your investments. If your plan includes an annuity, there will be an annuity arrangement fee to pay. There are no ongoing fees related to any annuity purchase.
- We'll monitor your plan, making sure it continues to meet your needs going forward.
