Retirement Planner

Our planner is free to use

Retirement Income Advice

1.12% to 1.15% annual ongoing fee*
  • Ongoing advice fee – 0.60% Paid for the Retirement Income Advice service, including ongoing reviews, advice and co-ordination of your plan’s payment schedule
  • Platform and Administration Charge - 0.30% (this falls to 0.20% for any amount above £250,000 per person), for the administration of and access to products and investments
  • Discretionary portfolio charge – 0.22% to 0.25% a year. Paid to the investment managers for managing your investments


*1.12% to 1.15% annual ongoing fee is applied to the value of your investments

Annuity arrangement fee
  • We'll do the admin, so you don't have to
  • If your plan includes a lifetime annuity then there would also be a one-off annuity arrangement fee of 2% of the purchase price. There would be no ongoing fees for this

Annual ongoing fees

There's no upfront cost to receive Our Retirement Income Advice, there's only an ongoing advice cost if you want the service.

Our fees are competitive and regularly benchmarked so we can be confident we offer a great value service.

Our fees automatically adjust with the total amount in your investment products over the course of the year.

How often are my fees paid?

Calculated daily and paid on a monthly basis,
 with a breakdown on your online account.

Example of the annual fees on £50,000 investments


Ongoing advice fee at 0.60% £300
Platform and administration charge at 0.30% £150
Discretionary portfolio charge at 0.25% £125
Example total annual ongoing fee
at 1.15% (0.60% + 0.30% + 0.25%)		 £575

Your ongoing fees will depend on your individual circumstances and will not be more than 1.15% a year.

What do I get in return for my ongoing fees?

The service includes:

  • Transferring to your bank account just what you need each month, which could help minimise the amount of income tax you pay the government. This could mean you have tens of thousands more to spend in retirement
  • Allowing you to make multiple changes to your objectives and see what impact this will have on your finances
  • Us providing you an annual review of your plan to make sure it still meets your objectives, but you can make changes more frequently if you choose
  • Access to our Retirement Specialists via web chat and by phone
